New PTA-2 test machine

MDM is finally pleased to announce the launch of a new testing unit on the market.
A new concept of machine has been developed to check the quality of abrasive cutting discs.

What distinguishes it from past models is that on MDM PTA-2, the cut-off disc is driven directly by a brushless electrical motor and no longer by a commercial angle grinder.

 

Main advantages:
– Possibility to set any required testing speeds according to Customer needs.
– No more errors or differences which may depend on the use of a grinder brand rather than another one.

In other words, the new PTA-2 offers the most precise and objective results on the performance of your cut-off disc!

The machine cycle is conceived to reproduce a certain number of cuts always in the same conditions and on the same material.
Once the test is over, the operator will be able to obtain all necessary information about wheel wearing.
Data are downloadable on USB supports or directly on the Customer Intranet System.
Wheels testable range is between diameter 100 to 255 mm.
The machine is located into a safety chamber equipped with many connections for air dust.
This test is driven by Siemens PLC Simatic 1500.

New available machine: MDM 2×40 T-CUP/WH-EL

Maternini is pleased to inform you that the new machine MDM 2×40 T-CUP/WH-EL is now available on the market for anyone dscf1365-foto-sitointerested in it.

This new press model is specially designed for the production of conical and cylindrical cup wheels, both ceramic and resinoid. Mixture can be manually and automatically loaded and transported to the mould.

The machine is made of a two columns structure, complete with three mobile traverses able to produce a high-quality product with:
– Max diameter: 150mm
– Max ring-height: 200mm
Different dimensions can be requested according to the customer needs.

Rapid cycle time is one of the most relevant feature. The machine is equipped with safety devices for the operator, both in the back and front part of the press.

LAUNCH ON THE MARKET OF NEW ROTARY MACHINE

We are proud to announce the launch on the market of a new concept of rotary press machine: the MDM 250-2C-R24 130 tons.

Projected and developed by Maternini Engineering team, manufactured in its premises, this new machine intends to run towards the latest productive and technological needs of abrasive wheels’ Producers. Secret of this machine is the capacity to weigh the selected quantity of necessary mix, fill the cavity and level the mixture inside the mould through a dedicated operation. Thanks to this innovative level of technology we can guarantee the achievement of the best result in terms of balancing of discs and a visual excellence which gives the feeling to obtain a top level tool.

Machine is designed in multi stations with possibility of having up to 3 layers of mix, 3 loads of fiber-glasses, top/bottom labels and bushing.

This configuration keeps the machine universal because able to produce many and many typology of discs, cut-off or grinding wheels, with a wide range of available thickness.
As optional, Customer can decide to add the “shaping table”: this device permits the central deformation of wheels, one by one, so to reach an optimal effect for your depressed-centered discs. As usual, many different ways for stacking of wheels together with aluminum plates or teflon supports can be created to meet Producer’s aim.
