we are proud to announce the widening of our finishing and shaping machines family dedicated to ceramic and vitrified wheels. What are we talking about?

Our “small” lathe is able to work wheels up to 560 mm diameter and 300 mm thickness: speed as well as precision are its strength!

Many are the feasible shapes, such as: external/internal diameters, surfaces, profile and gears.
Don’t forget the possibility to customize the wheels shape according to your request thanks to a software able to simulate the desired configuration through the PC and the machine.

 

Nowadays Maternini provides lathe machines able to cover a huge range of diameter up to 1200 mm without restrictions on height and central hole, and a lot of options are available.

New available machine: MDM 2×40 T-CUP/WH-EL

Maternini is pleased to inform you that the new machine MDM 2×40 T-CUP/WH-EL is now available on the market for anyone dscf1365-foto-sitointerested in it.

This new press model is specially designed for the production of conical and cylindrical cup wheels, both ceramic and resinoid. Mixture can be manually and automatically loaded and transported to the mould.

The machine is made of a two columns structure, complete with three mobile traverses able to produce a high-quality product with:
– Max diameter: 150mm
– Max ring-height: 200mm
Different dimensions can be requested according to the customer needs.

Rapid cycle time is one of the most relevant feature. The machine is equipped with safety devices for the operator, both in the back and front part of the press.

We are dealing with a second hand machine model MDM 750 4C TR 1200 tons equipped with two working sides for the manufacturing of ceramic or vitrified wheels.
The main components of the press are currently in an excellent status.
First side maximum productivity: ø 920 mm
Opposite side maximum productivity: ø 620 mm
Ring height: 550 mm
The machine is supplied with top plates conveyor which, as you know, is able to manufacture two different diameters on the two sides.
Last but not least, the machine is fitted with back-pressure system in order to obtain the right pressure on both sides of the wheel.

Maternini proposes you the whole press after a general check of its main functionalities and after a brief meeting focused on the chance to consider modifications or replacements in mechanical and electronical parts.
